So guess what. I found myself a damn fine editor. He's about to start work, as soon as tomorrow. According to our contract, he will be done with this full edit by mid July. You can look forward to that.

Of course, I do have a second run of edits I will have to do after (assuming I don't have glaring enough flaws to require a total rewrite).  Those likely may not take as long, but who knows. Either way, I'm hoping to be ready to publish by sometime in August.
